We faced a difficult choice when considering how to start DE Pizza. Should we wait to launch this blog until we had completed reviews of every pizza restaurant on the Delaware shore? Or should we launch DE Pizza with only a handful of reviews and a promise to get to the rest over time?

After agonizing for a while, we chose the second approach. We admit that we may not excel at math, but our calculation is that it will take at least a year, probably longer, to review all the pizza joints we know about in our area. Why? We don't want to eat pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner over weeks just to finish all our reviews. Cramming for tests rarely produces a good result. Worse, cramming pizza down your gullet defeats the goal. Pizza should be a celebration, not the Nathan's hot-dog eating contest or a scene from Morgan Spurlock's Super Size Me.

On the other hand, we didn't want to wait to join the conversation. There's a Delaware shore pizza community out there and we wanted to contribute our thoughts and experiences to it, even if we only added a few thoughts and experiences at a time.

Having said that, there is no reason for you to wait for the full list of Delaware shore pizza restaurants we have identified so far. You may choose to visit any or all these restaurants without the benefit of our reviews. We don't recommend it. It would be a bad idea. We offer no guarantees, warranties, or promises. Every slice you eat from a place on this list is strictly cave qui pizzam edit - "let the pizza eater beware."

So, with all those warnings, and in addition to the pizza restaurants we have already reviewed on this blog, here's the list of Delaware shore pizza places we have compiled to date. As we review restaurants, we will remove them from this list and you will find them in the review section of this site's blog.
